Weapons, Koo Charms & Spirit Stones
A reliable equipment taxonomy that refuses to invent item stats or drop locations.
Table of contents
Equipment family map
Beast of Reincarnation supports different loadout directions through gear and Spirit Stones. Keep the equipment families attached to the correct partner before comparing any build claim.
| Family | Owner | Safe planning question |
|---|---|---|
| Katanas and other weapons | Emma | Which immediate action or damage route does this weapon change? |
| Ranged weapons, arrows, and bolts | Emma | What resource, range, or opening does the ranged option require? |
| Spirit Stones | Emma | Which condition or effect changes Emma's current loop? |
| Koo Charms | Koo | Which command or Koo behavior does the Charm support? |
| Bloom Arts | Koo progression | Which command decision becomes available or stronger? |
The game includes skill trees, gear, Spirit Stones, discoverable katanas, and Koo Charms, with ranged, stealthy, and aggressive approaches among its possible loadout directions.
A real item row needs five things
Do not trust an item database merely because it has a name and an icon. A version-ready row needs:
- Exact in-game name
- Exact displayed values and effect wording
- Trigger or equip condition
- Acquisition source or location
- Game version and a reproducible observation method
Those five fields are not complete for the full weapon, Charm, or Spirit Stone families. That is why this page provides a useful taxonomy instead of a padded item table.
Big Dipper: what the name does and does not prove
Big Dipper is a Deluxe Edition sword for Emma. The Deluxe bundle also names Oni's Hat, Amber, Koo skins, and vegetable seedlings. That bundle establishes the item identity and entitlement context; it does not establish a damage value, upgrade path, drop source, or “best early weapon” claim.
If a bonus item does not appear, use the exact matrix and isolation order in Editions, Bonuses & Deluxe Upgrade. Do not buy another edition until the entitlement and install state are clear.
Compare equipment without a fake tier list
Use an observation card while playing:
| Field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Version | The displayed game version |
| Item | Exact capitalization and family |
| Values | Every visible number, including upgrade level |
| Effect | Exact trigger and outcome in the UI |
| Source | Chest, reward, merchant, boss, quest, or other visible acquisition |
| Location | Region and nearest stable landmark |
| Test | The repeatable action used to confirm the effect |
Compare two items only when the character state, upgrade level, enemy, and action are controlled. A larger number on a different upgrade level is not a valid ranking.
Completion goals that shape collection
The achievement list confirms several long-term equipment tasks:
- Obtain every blade.
- Fully upgrade every blade.
- Obtain every manual for every arrow and bolt type.
- Fully upgrade every ranged weapon, arrow type, and bolt type.
These conditions define useful collection families, but they do not reveal the total item counts or where each entry is found. Search them in All 46 Achievements, track the long goals in the Completion Checklist, and treat exact completion routing as open until the item ledger is closed.
Build planning boundary
A build planner will not launch until it can calculate with exact same-version inputs. For now, connect each equipment choice to one observable part of the Emma-and-Koo combat loop, then choose the relevant progression track in Skill Trees & Bloom Arts. That process is slower than importing placeholder slots and much more likely to survive a patch.
